Solamingus is comprised of Greg Burns, Brian Kirk and Jeff Burns. Greg and Jeff Burns, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, have a background in electronic music, hip-hop composition and production. Brian Kirk studied jazz and classical music composition in Seattle, WA.

When the three collaborated in Los Angeles, the combination of talents was unique and undeniable. They fused such traditional styles as classical and jazz with dance and hip-hop which formed a new sound all it's own.
