California's Irontom are an exuberant indie-rock outfit with a sound that combines arty post-punk and prog influences with psychedelic flourishes and funk-rock grooves. Irontom features lead singer Harry Hayes, guitarist Zach Irons, keyboardist Dan Saslow, and drummer Dylan Williams. Both Hayes and Irons (son of former Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam drummer Jack Irons) grew up together and played music before connecting with Saslow and Irons' cousin Williams. They initially released their 'IRONTOM Compilation' in 2015, produced by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Eleven, Them Crooked Vultures). In 2017 the band released their full-length debut album, 'Partners,' which included the single "Be Bold Like Elijah." The music video for the song featured professional skater Elijah Berle. Throughout 2018 and 2019, the band recorded and released their EP 'Kid Midnight' which was produced by Aaron Bruno of AWOLNATION. Irontom's second studio album, 'CULT FOLLOWING' will be released on September 25th featuring "Big Shot," "Down For Whatever" and "Full Moon." [ more ]
