Bio
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Yonatan Watts started his musical journey at a young age and quickly became active in the Canadian music scene. Winning multiple awards and grants for his musical and vocal capabilities, he soon landed a position in the top 30 on the nationally aired “Canadian Idol”. He then moved to New York where he began diving deep into production, songwriting and recording for his own music. Making valuable connections, he quickly became a highly sought after producer and engineer in the New York music scene, working at the world renowned Platinum Sound Studio. In 2019 Yonatan landed an engineering placement on Ari’s debut album “Shea Butter Baby” #4 on the Billboard R&B charts. Yonatan moved to Los Angeles where he connected with producers Murda Beatz, Bizness Boi, TIMBALAND, Rodney Jerkins, Babyface & Tommy Brown.
