Khalan The Great

Khalan the Great is a Baltimore-born rapper making vast, cinematic music. His poetic verses twist and turn over churning percussion and sweeping, orchestral flourishes, sketching imagery of ancient battles and vengeful gods. Imagine Hans Zimmer teamed up with Kendrick Lamar to score the Norsemen, and you’ll get a sense of the spectacular blend of atmosphere and energy in the music. Khalan fell into rapping naturally, having grown up with Tupac, Biggie, and other titans of hip-hop blasting from his parents’ speakers at home. He began practicing rhymes and composing verses for fun from around the age of 13, before eventually pursuing music as a broader calling.
