Aljoscha “Ali” Christenhusz is a renowned composer based in Hamburg, Germany. A self-taught musician, he learned music at a young age by using rubber bands and erasers to play the piano. Starting off as a young child writing music in the German countryside, Ali evolved into the professional musician that he is today, creating music for high-profile films, advertisements, trailers, and more. After spending several years in Los Angeles working with the Grammy-Award winning composer Junkie XL, Ali relocated back to Germany to build his very own studio in Hamburg and focus on his personal compositions. In contrast to the big, sensational Hollywood productions, his own compositions offered an intimate and delicate view into his own story. “I like to draw back from the buzz of the city and be alone when I write music,” Ali says. “I can just sit at the piano or grab a guitar and see what happens.
