After quickly landing songs in promotions for Amazon and Netflix with her first single “This is the Place” in early 2020, this young-and-talented LA-based singer/songwriter,and Berklee School of Music graduate, is more than poised to connect with music fans around the world. Her debut EP Sacred Ground delivers nine intricately composed and produced tracks by Frederick Erikkson and Chris Accardo that lay the foundation for ISAMAR’s hauntingly gorgeous voice.The music is transportative. Each song has unique narrative moments with rises, builds, crescendos, and drops. Accompanying visualizations are to be had while listening to ISAMAR.

With deep South American roots stemming from Chile and Peru, ISAMAR brings a worldly approach to her craft that can be heard on songs like “Searching for the Truth” which features staccato acoustic guitar riffs that transport you to a quaint island before being washed away by massive waves of drums, synthesizers, and low-end punches.

The title track “Sacred Ground”’s hook might say it best as ISAMAR repeatedly sings: “We Are Entering Sacred Ground”. Like opening a hidden gate door behind lush green vines in a secret garden, there’s an elusive adventure to be had everytime you press play on an ISAMAR record. [ less ]
