Born into a musical family and friend group that would frequently jam together in their living room, burnboy discovered his love for music at a very young age. His craft quickly grew by learning trombone and drums and performing in choirs and musicals. The elusive artist’s fast-paced trajectory and rebellious defiance of traditional music lessons and teachers soon proved music could be more than a hobby, but a way to express himself, and ultimately become his livelihood. Though burnboy has always gravitated towards heavy, rhythmic music, he also has a deep love and respect for all genres of music. By embracing a diverse musical palette and pulling inspiration from a wide range of artists, such as Marilyn Manson, Julia Michaels, and Max Martin, burnboy linked up with artist Brooke Williams and created a genre-bending debut aptly named The Greatest that is equal parts beautiful, dark, dirty, and evocative.
